Was coming for my child’s student visit of WSU and had to cancel our trip due to family in hospital and your company did not allow me to cancel (said I had a non-cancel reservation)…even with greater than 24 hour notice…very disappointed.
Not as good as it used to be.
Breakfast is very average, was much better under prior management. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room quality seems to vary quite a bit. I left an expensive electric toothbrush by accident, and it was never turned in to lost and found…make sure you double check all your items are packed, as no guarantee they’ll be looking out for you.

Hard squeaky beds.
Some of the beds at this hotel are way to hard and it feels like your sleeping on rocks, except the bed squeaks with every movement. Anytime any of our guest moved the beds squeaked. Sleeping was poor.
WSU Mom’s Weekend
Best place to stay during Mom’s Weekend.
Close enough to campus yet far enough to not be in the thick of things. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast – maybe extend breakfast hours. Need more toiletries in bathroom and some towel hooks.
Staff – always friendly, responsive and accommodating.
Moms – you will be pleased to stay at the Hilltop for your Mom’s Weekend.
WSU parent visit
We visited our WSU student for a weekend. This hotel has a good location and is close to campus.
The check in process was smooth. Room seemed good, however after the first night we realized what poor quality the beds were! Bathroom has super low water pressure and we had to have the hot on full to even have warm water. Breakfast was fine, although the chef was grumpy about refilling empty containers and started cleaning up everything before 9am.
Our biggest issue was that we found a sock (that didn’t belong to us) under the table in the room. That should have been found when vacuuming. Yuck!
Housekeeping staff was extremely loud and they started cleaning the next door room at 7:15. We could hear them banging around, talking and even singing happy birthday. But guess what we didn’t hear, a vacuum running.
We have several years left visiting Pullman, we will avoid this location in the future!
