Terrible reception staff. Customers are not treated the same.

We have arrived last Sunday, Aug 23rd, at approx. 7:30 PM as a group five individuals with bookings for five separate rooms. It was a business trip. The reception staff stated that our booking qualifies for the room on the ground floor, and the upgrade to the 2nd floor room will be additional $50.00 per night, per room. We have declined. The manager on duty flatly refused to put us in the second floor rooms, and I was put into the room on the ground floor, although rooms on the higher floors were readily available. Later on as I have met my colleagues I have learnt that all of them finally were offered 2nd floor rooms, but me. I found it extremely offending. In addition on one of the days when I stayed there, upon returning from work, I have discovered the door to the room wide open. I have reported to the front desk, and the manager who was the same one checking us in on Sunday, asked if anything is missing from the room. When I replied that nothing was missing, he stated that there is no problem then. It is obvious that reception staff there do not treat customers equally. Avoid this hotel.

Great value

The room was clean and well appointed, the bed was of good quality, it was quiet and the food from the breakfast buffet, restaurant and room service was all enjoyable. Staff were friendly. I will stay here again.

Nice stay in smokey kelowna

Good staff, good food, good drinks, good location,pool.
20 feet to liquor store, groceries et al around the corner.

Excellent Customer Service

We booked a regular room for one night and we ended up getting there early. They were very accommodating and let us check in. When I arrived at our room on the 2nd floor everything looked good until I entered the bathroom. In the bathroom I found a flickering light and a dirty toilet. I’m not one to complain easily, but I called down to the front desk and they told me they would find me another room and they did within a few minutes. The manager came up to meet me and brought me to the new room. He even offered to take my luggage for me. They were so nice to upgrade us to a premium room on the 7th floor. It was beautiful! It had a high ceiling and big balcony that had mountain views. I later ran into the manager in the lobby and he asked to make sure everything was good with the new room. I was so impressed with their excellent customer service! We had lunch at the hotel restaurant Vintner’s Grill and also received great service and food. I would stay there again!

Kelowna Holiday

Very good stay. Friendly welcoming staff. Repetitive breakfast menu but good quality, good variety. Hotel services good. Location good. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. 200 characters excessive when your site has such a detailed questionnaire.
