How do I become a Coast Rewards Member?
As a Coast Rewards Member, do I receive a membership card when I sign up to the program?
Who needs another card to crowd their wallet? When you sign up for Coast Rewards, you’ll receive a welcome email with your Member ID. Your Member ID is your email address so it’s easy to remember. We’ll also notify you when you achieve a higher tier level.

Once you become a Coast Rewards Member, every dollar you spend towards applicable rates, add-ons, or upgrades when you book & stay with Coast Hotels, earns you Coast Rewards Points. You can even earn points when you dine at one of our restaurants when you charge your restaurant balance to your room!
What are the benefits of Coast Rewards?
As a Coast Rewards Member, you earn points that can be redeemed towards your next stay with us. You can also use them towards items in the redemption catalogue such as gift cards and Coast Hotels merchandise. Additionally, your benefits grow as your membership level grows. Each membership level entitles you to additional guest privileges during each stay!
How do I become a Purple, Silver, Gold or Platinum member?
The more you stay with Coast Hotels, the more your benefits and points accumulate. Eligible applicants will be automatically enrolled at the Pink tier level and move up to Purple, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels as soon as you qualify. Qualification is based upon the number of nights a Coast Rewards Member stays during each one-year period. To re-qualify on an annual basis, you need: 5-9 nights for Purple status, 10-19 nights for Silver status, 20-29 nights for Gold status and 30 nights or more for Platinum status. Your newly earned level, should your status change, will be in effect for the rest of the current year and following year.
How do I ensure my reservations qualify for Coast Rewards Points?
You receive Coast Rewards Points when you book directly through Coast Hotels. The reservation must be in the member’s name, the member must have stayed in the room and paid for it in full to receive your Coast Rewards points. To ensure you receive your points: make sure you sign in when you book online, or call the dedicated Coast Rewards Reservation Line at 1.800.549.9099, ext.2 and provide your Coast Rewards Member ID.
If I book through a third-party online reservation service do I receive Coast Rewards Points?
Unfortunately, reservations made through third-party websites or online reservations systems – wholesale rates or booking through tour operators where a hotel is chosen for you – are not eligible for point or nights accumulation.
Can I choose to receive Aeroplan Points, Alaska Airlines Mileage or More Rewards instead of Coast Rewards Points?
Absolutely. You choose your earning preference and whether you wish to collect Coast Rewards Points, Aeroplan Points, Alaska Airlines mileage or More Rewards points. You cannot collect more than one option at a time, but if you should want to update your earning preference you can do so easily through your online account. For eligible stays only, points are not awarded for group or third-party bookings.
What is “Preferential Treatment” and how do I receive it?
When you’re a member, we do our best to make your stay the way you like it, like getting you to your room quickly with as little time spent checking-in as possible. Have any special preferences? Save them to your member account online and we will try our best to accommodate any room preferences you have to make sure your stay is as comfortable as home.
How do I keep track of my account activity?
You can check your account activity and points balance online at any time. You’ll also receive your points balance and tier level in the emails we send out regularly.
What does my online Coast Rewards account allow me to do?
Once signed into your account on our website, you can easily make reservations or use points towards those reservations. You can check your points balance and stay history, redeem points and update your profile and preferences. Everything to make your stay more rewarding. Your account is password protected and can only be accessed by you.
How do I sign up to receive exclusive member offers?
Make sure you are opted-in to receive emails from us so that we can let you know when our member exclusive deals are coming. Log in to your account online to verify you’re signed up or call Member Services at 1.800.549.9099.
How do I redeem my points?
You can easily redeem your points at the time of reservation when booking online. Just make sure you are signed into your account and your points are at your fingertips. You can also redeem by calling into Member Services at 1.800.549.9099. Just let them know the email address associated with your account and they can help you redeem your points towards your reservation. When visiting the redemption catalogue located within the Member Suite, just click on the “redeem points” button to get started.
What can I redeem my points for?
You can redeem your Coast Rewards Points towards future stays, add-ons and whatever else you add to your reservation when booking online. Don’t forget to visit our redemption catalogue to see our selection of gift cards, Coast Hotels amenities and more, also available for you to redeem your points towards.
Can I give my earned rewards to someone else?
You bet! You are able to grant your points to a friend or family member to use towards their future stay or any other redemption item available. You will be required to fill out a Coast Rewards Points Transfer form with the required number of points you would like to gift. The recipient will then need to sign-up for Coast Rewards so that they have an account to receive the points. Please allow at least 24 hours for points transfer to be completed. Points, once transferred cannot be reversed. Our Coast Rewards Member Services team will be happy to help. Call us at 1.800.549.9099.
How do I notify Coast Hotels of updates to my contact information?
You can update your Coast Rewards profile by signing into our website and updating your profile information in the Member Suite. You can also contact our Coast Rewards Member Services team at 1.800.549.9099 or email@example.com. Don’t forget to ensure the continued receipt of special offers, reservation confirmations and program notifications by keeping your email address up to date.
Can I be reimbursed for my points once I’ve redeemed them?
No, it is not possible to reimburse your account for points that have already been redeemed or transferred to another account.
How long does my Coast Rewards membership remain active?
Your account will remain active as long as you have stay with Coast Hotels at least one night within 24 months. You can also redeem points to maintain an active account. If you have not earned points through a hotel stay or redeemed any points within 24 months, your account will deactivate. This means your points and nights accumulation are lost and cannot be reinstated. However, we always welcome you back and are happy to re-enroll you as a new Pink Tier member upon completing your next stay.
How will you use the credit card and personal information I provide to you?
Not to worry: The credit card information you provide at the time of reservation is kept strictly confidential and will only be used for the current booking’s charges, late arrival guarantee, and facilitating express check-in and check-out. Credit card information is not kept on file. The personal information saved on your profile is also secure and will never be shared.
Can I share my account with another person?
Sorry, memberships are applicable only to individual travellers and cannot be shared.
