How do I become a Coast Hotels Rewards member?

Becoming a member is a cinch. Simply sign up to Coast Rewards online or call Member Services at 1.800.549.9099. You can also enroll at any Coast hotel.

As a Coast Rewards member, do I receive a membership card when I sign up to the program?

Who needs another card to crowd their wallet? When you sign up for Coast Rewards, you’ll receive a welcome email with your membership number. Just file your number in a handy place—we can always look you up, if you forget it. We’ll also notify you when you reach Gold or Platinum status.

Does Coast Rewards membership cost anything?

Nope. Coast Rewards membership is absolutely free.

How do I earn Coast Rewards points?

Once you become a Coast Rewards member, every pre-tax dollar you spend towards applicable rates or packages when you book & stay with Coast Hotels, earns you Coast Rewards points. You can even earn points when you dine at one of our restaurants when you charge your restaurant balance to your room!

What are the benefits of Coast Rewards?

You earn points that can be redeemed for complimentary stays, vacation packages, room upgrades, gift cards and merchandise.
Additionally, your benefits grow as your membership level grows. Each membership level entitles you to additional guest privileges during each stay such as Priority Check In!

How do I become a Silver, Gold or Platinum member?

The more you stay with Coast Hotels, the more your benefits and points accumulate. Eligible applicants will be automatically enrolled at the Silver level and move up to Gold and Platinum levels as soon as you qualify. Qualification is based upon the number of nights a Rewards Member stays during each one-year period. To re-qualify on an annual basis you need: 1-14 nights for Silver Status, 15-39 nights for Gold Status and 40 nights or more for Platinum Status. Your newly earned standing, should your status change, will be in effect for the following one-year period.

How do I ensure my reservations qualify for Coast Rewards points?

You receive Coast Rewards points  when you book directly through Coast Hotels. You must have stayed in the room and paid for it in full to receive your Coast Rewards points. To ensure you receive your points: make sure you sign in when you book online, or call the dedicated Coast Rewards Reservation Line at 1.800.549.9099, ext.2 and provide your Coast Rewards number.

If I book through a third party online reservation service do I receive Coast Rewards points?

Unfortunately, reservations made through third-party websites or online reservations systems—or tour operators where a hotel is chosen for you—are not eligible for point or nights accumulation.

What can I redeem my points for?

The question should be what can’t you redeem them for! You can redeem your Coast Rewards points for complimentary stays, room upgrades, vacation packages, gift certificates and merchandise. View our Rewards Catalogue for lots of great ways to stay and to save.

Can I choose to receive Aeroplan Miles, Alaska Airlines Mileage, More Rewards or HawaiianMiles instead of Coast Rewards points?

Absolutely. You choose your earning preference and whether you wish to collect Coast Rewards points, Aeroplan miles, Alaska Airlines miles or More Rewards points. You cannot collect more than one option, but if you should want to update your earning preference you can do so easily through your online account. For eligible stays only, points are not awarded for group or third party bookings.

What is “Preferential Treatment” and how do I receive it?

When you’re a member, we do our best to customize our services to your liking. After all, we don’t all have the same tastes! When you complete your profile, you’ll be able to specify what kind of room you prefer, what kind of bed you like, room and floor location and more.

What does my online Coast Rewards account allow me to do?

You can easily make reservations, check your points balance and stay history, redeem points and update your preferences. Your account is password protected and can only be accessed by you.

How do I keep track of my account activity?

You’ll receive a regular Coast Rewards e-newsletter showing your points balance. You can also check your account activity and points balance online at any time.

How do I sign up to receive exclusive member offers?

Make sure you check the box online that says you want to receive special offers and promotions. Log in to your account online to verify you’re signed up or call Member Services at 1.800.549.9099.

How do I redeem my points?

You can easily redeem your points at the time of reservation when booking online or by phone, or upon check-in for complimentary stays. Travel packages, gift certificates and merchandise can be redeemed online or by calling 1.800.549.9099. Simply follow the easy instructions to choose your reward. Travel rewards must be reserved at least 21 days in advance. Please allow up to three to four weeks for delivery of redemption items, and ensure your certificates are kept in a safe place as duplicates cannot be issued.

Can I give my earned rewards to someone else?

You bet! You are able to donate points to a friend or family member to help them reach the amount of points needed for that redemption item they’ve been dreaming of. Points cannot be transferred from one membership account to another, but can be redeemed directly from your account when needed. Our Coast Rewards Member Services team will be happy to help. How do I notify Coast Hotels of updates to my contact information?

You can update your profile online or contact our Coast Rewards Member Services team at 1.800.549.9099. Don’t forget to ensure the continued receipt of special offers, reservation confirmations and program notifications.

Can I be reimbursed for my points once I’ve redeemed them?

It is not possible to reimburse your account for points that have already been redeemed.

How long does my Coast Rewards membership remain active?

Your account will remain active as long as you have stayed with Coast Hotels at least one night within 24 months. If you have not stayed at least one night, points are lost and cannot be reinstated. However, we always welcome you back and are happy to re-enroll you as a new Silver member if you return after the 24-month period.

How will you use the credit card and personal information I provide to you?

Not to worry: The credit card information you provide at the time of reservation is kept strictly confidential and will only be used for the current booking’s charges, late arrival guarantee, and facilitating express check-in and check-out. Credit card information is not kept on file.

Can I share my account with another person?

Sorry, memberships are applicable only to individual travellers and points are non-transferable.

How do I get points credited for a missing stay?

How do room upgrade redemptions work?

If you are a Platinum member, your reserved room type will be upgraded one room type level at the time of reservation, subject to availability.
