Excellent Place to stay!!
Best place to stay! Not to far from downtown Seattle but far enough away from hustle and bustle of city. Excellent options for breakfast! Very friendly staff, clean rooms and spacious. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Over night stay
I stayed at The Coast for the first time 10/21/17. Flew down to see a concert and left the next morning. We stayed on the 6th floor all the way at the end of the hall next to the stairs. It was amazing it was so quiet! We couldn’t here the airplanes or freeway traffic at all! Very sound proof building. It’s a little dated but the staff keeps the important areas very clean. I’m a very picky person and I’ll find anything that wasn’t cleaned but they passed my test and I would definitely stay here again if I had a layover or needed one night stay. Close walking to distance to fast food restaurants and a couple sit done restaurants. Only 15 minutes from the airport. Very very convenient. Staff was all friendly. It is apparent he owner treats their staff well. All employees seemed relaxed and happy.
Okay, but don't expect much.
We live in the area, but chose to stay overnight prior to our very early flight.
The check in was fine. The clerk was very pleasant. The lobby attractive.
While the hotel appears quite attractive from the outside, the room is tiny. So small that there is only space for a queen size bed. It is about what you would expect at a two or three star hotel.
The heating and air conditioning unit was very noisy and the bed so hard it was very uncomfortable. We travel frequently, and this must have been the most uncomfortable bed we have encountered in a hotel. Although we were on a high floor, the traffic noise was incessant.
I read until i fall asleep, but there wasn’t enough light to read. This struck me as being odd since the room didn’t appear dark when we entered. However, when I looked at the bedside table lamp, someone has put in reflector bulbs pointed at the ceiling. They must have gotten a good deal on them. They don’t illuminate the table, only the ceiling.
The breakfast room was fine. They have the usual expected juice and breakfast food.
I would have given the hotel a two star rating, except that the location is ideal. They have a shuttle service to the airport, but you don’t even need that. If you are in a hurry you can probably walk it faster than the shuttle. It is literally no more than a one block walk to the airport entry.
Worth of money
I selected the hotel because of location and price. The quality of the hotel was what I expected. Breakfast was good bonus for the price, although it would have been better with eggs & beacons. Airport shuttle worked perfectly.
Very convenient to airport
We got a “deal” otherwise I might not have chosen this facility, directly at the edge of the runway. As it turned out, it was extremely quiet, not a bit of sound came through. My husband enjoyed watching airport operations at eye level. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the staff is informative…
