Nice Hotel Close to Hotel

Large clean comfortable room. Even though we were on the airport side, the noise form the planes was not enough to disturb your sleep.

Their shuttle was quick and responsive. The breakfast was adequate. I had more selection at other hotels, but it was good for a quick breakfast before a flight. It consist of make your own waffles, sausage, hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal, assorted cereals and bake goods.

The front office staff were friendly and helpful. No problem printing boarding passes. And there is a good restaurant and bar next door.

Great place to overnight between flights.

Best room rate we could find near the airport where we needed to overnight between the cruise ship and a flight home the next day. Very friendly staff, easy check-in and clean lobby. Room was roomy and clean, bath a little small, but everything was clean and comfortable. Even with the airport very close, the room was quite. There is a great BBQ place just across the parking lot, called Roasters, where we ate. Breakfast is served by the hotel in the lobby area starting at 5:00 am.

Solid choice when flying through Seattle

I was introduced to this hotel years ago when Hawaiian Air made arrangements for us to stay here because of a delayed flight. Pick up your luggage at baggage claim, give the hotel a quick call, and their shuttle will have you back at the hotel in minutes. The property is about as close as you can get to SEA-TAC. No, noise has never been a problem for me and I often request an upper floor room facing the airport. Years later, I continue to stay here without hesitation. Nothing fancy here, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Sharps Roast House restaurant is only steps away from the main entrance and provides an excellent opportunity to grab a good meal without having to leave the property. Let the front desk know when you’ll need the return shuttle. On your way out, you can find a decent selection of breakfast items available early every morning. If you don’t have time, then get something at the airport as a reward for navigating the TSA lines. Thank you again Coast Gateway for another pleasant experience. We’ll be back!

Reservations & Rates Not Garaunteed

I have never seen a more disorganized hotel than this one. I am a Travel Agent who made reservation for 15 of my guest who was going on a Alaska Cruise in July, I made the reservations from 2/22/16 for 5 rooms for 1 night pre-cruise and for 2 rooms for 3 nights post cruise. I call the hotel in June a couple of times went over the reservations email them the names for everyone who would be in what rooms, my guest got there and there was no rooms and the reservations all mixed up.

And talk about confusion, luckily I had all my emails in a folder else it would be their word against mine. How does a big hotel like that get so confused about a reservations of just 5 rooms. Then the rates were all over the place they tack on rates that I did not agree on and we have to be at the front desk several times on the post cruise to rectify the rates. Who manages this place? Hello you need a crash course in Management and I blame Management because if your front desk people get proper training then they would know what they are doing.

Eventually after much patience and stress they worked it out and fix the problem. Bravo!!! But I will not stay at your hotel again and would not recommend it! Main reason reservations and rates not guaranteed!

Can someone tell me what is the $2.00 tourism tax they charge per person per day. When I ask them what it is for I was told, and their only explanation is every hotel in Seattle charge it. It doesn’t mean that because you all charge it, it is right what is it for is the Big ??? I have to do some further investigation on this they racked up all kind of taxes and fees on your bill and when you ask about it they have an attitude about it. They want to catch you off guard people Be Aware of your bills!!

That’s my experience with the hotel front desk, overall the hotel is at a great location they are right behind the airport. They have complimentary 24hrs shuttle from the airport, and complimentary shuttle to the mall there are several restaurants nearby and also lots of other hotels. It’s about a 35 minutes ride to pier 66 to go on the cruise, the airport shuttle driver is very professional and friendly.

Beds and pillows are soft and nothing to jump hoops about! Not comfortable, there are refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The housekeepers do a great job with the cleaning. Breakfast is included they have continental breakfast with sausage and waffle maker. I must say the sausage is very good and I am not a lover of sausage. There is coffee and tea available during the day, if you have to go their make sure that you have your reservation and call up to the day before arrival to ensure you have a room at the rate you reserved, you may be in for a not so pleasant surprise.

quiet, clean, and comfortable

We stayed here for one night before a very early flight. The room was great – very clean. Microwave and refrigerator. Vanity outside of the bath area. We had a great view of the airport from our room. We could watch planes take off, but it was quiet! The beds were super comfy, but we only slept in them for a few hours. Breakfast starts at 5am, but we left earlier and missed it. Used the shuttle twice – once after returning our rental car and once to the airport. Quick and efficient. Wouldn’t have minded staying longer. I only wish we had 2 queen sized beds instead of 2 doubles.
