Best Place To Stay
Anytime we have an early flight in the morning, we stay at the Coast Gateway hotel, park at Wally Park and take the shuttle to the airport in the morning. It is perfect. Plus there is a great restaurant right there in the same parking lot as the hotel. Everything is very convenient and comfortable.
Another great stay.
Basic comforts, good value, quiet rooms right next to the airport!! Can’t beat it! Clean and friendly! Not like the Loud and sprawling Doubletree next door, where others stayed. In room fridge was perfect, thought it would be loud next to light rail and airport but was very well insulated. Heating and cooling both worked fantastic! Shower was kind of cramped but not bad.
Very Comfortable and Convenient
If you are flying into Seattle and need a hotel for overnight, the Coast Gateway is clean, comfortable and only a 5 minute shuttle ride, or 10 minute walk from Sea-Tac Airport.
The Sound Transit light rail train is also only a 10 minute walk away to get to Downtown.
My husband and I were bumped from our flight and ended up staying in Seattle overnight. For a small fee, we were able to check in early and get some sleep as we had been traveling all night. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The front desk provided us with a few toiletry items when they found out that our luggage had traveled without us. The staff was so helpful and pleasant, we will definitely be staying there again.
Wish we had discovered this hotel sooner
We have to stay near the airport for early morning flights because we come via island ferries that don’t run early enough to reach SEA-TAC with sufficient wait time. We’ve tried many SEA-TAC hotels: BW, Red Roof Inn, Ho-Jo’s, Cedarbrook Lodge. Definitely Coast Gateway will become our go-to SEA-TAC hotel. The property is older, but well maintained and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful. The hotel has a full breakfast but our flight left too early to partake. So staff packed a bag with fruit, yogurt and rolls and juice for us. Very thoughtful. The shuttle worked great; but if not, you can walk a couple of blocks to check-in. Triple pane windows blocked out most airplane noise.
