Older Hotel, Adequate For One Night

This is an older building from 1960′s or early ’70s in fairly good condition. It’s in walking distance of a number of local restaurants.

I stayed one night in early July. Check in went smoothly with friendly staff. First room I was assigned was extremely hot due to afternoon sun even with A/C running. I was moved to a room on the shaded side which had a very strong chemical disinfectant smell on arrival. The room was comfortable otherwise and quiet. The window sheer curtains had several rips and holes. I opened the sliding door wide and most of the unpleasant smell dissipated. Breakfast was satisfactory, standard hotel offering with scrambled eggs, yogurt, bacon, cereal, toast, coffee, juice.

Boot Camp Reunion

Both days went very well. Hotel did everything right except the 4th floor Air Conditioning could not get repaired even though they tried. It seemed the employees were around when needed. It was a perfect place within reasonable distance to the State Capitol.

nice spot by capitol

It was a fairly quiet time we spent in Olympia and local restaurants along with store around corner made it grand. I wish we would have had more time to spend and enjoy this town. We hope to be back again

Old but good!!

So first do not come here if you are expecting an up to date modern hotel!!! This hotel is older but I will say it is in a great location to downtown and it was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a Grand King Suite facing the front which was very spacious. There is a breakfast buffet which had the basics and the food was hot. The only real issue was the water in the shower, we could not get it to regulate (this is not a shock with how old the hotel is). It was either burning hot or freezing cold. We managed and by the end of our stay figured out an in between the best we could. The staff was very pleasant. We will be back in the area again and I’m pretty sure we will stay here again. You can’t beat the price!!

Mini vacation stay in olympia.

We needed to stop for the night and rest. The staff at the front desk were very kind and accommodating. It was 945pm and we were able to get a great room. We ended getting a double queen room, because it was the only kind of room available. The bed was so comfortable. The room was nice and inviting as well.
The complimentary breakfast was more than I expected . It was delicious, with quite a variety.
