Burbank is Better...
I recently had to go to UCLA for a work related event. Rather than fly into LAX and stay in LA, I chose to fly into Burbank and stay there. I originally asked my administrative assistant to book me at the Safari Inn, also a Coast property, but she decided the Anabelle would be better because it has interior corridors and a little better rating. I’m sure I would have been happy at the Safari, but I was quite content at the Anabelle. Staff were courteous and friendly, the room was clean and well maintained, parking was ample and convenient; not much to complain about; except… The noise level. You could hear the neighbors quite well. In order not to get caught up in their conversations, I found myself turning up the volume on the television.
Speaking of the TV, it was a nice sized flat screen with plenty of channels to choose from. There was a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room; no microwave. The bathroom was well equipped with a very nice shower, which had two shower heads, an overhead and traditional shower head. Linens were nice, bathrobes were provided as well. This is a small property that is clean, safe, and well maintained. I would not hesitate to recommend it to folks looking for a convenient place to stay in SoCal.
Convenient and hassle free
The Bistro guest located within the Hotel can be a bit noisy bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Check in is at 3pm and if you have a package deal with Universal Studios make sure to print your tickets before hand.
If I ever travel to LA again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Coast Anabelle Hotel. All the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. And the bathroom was absolutely beautiful. I would also like to mention that the hotels restaurant is excellent. We had dinner one night at the Smoke House, which was good, but I was just as satisfied at the hotels restaurant. A big Thank you to all the staff at Coast Anabelle.

Very Nice Stay
The room was clean, comfortable, and the right size. The staff was friendly and courteous. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and the staff was attentive, the food was good, and the atmosphere was relaxed. There seemed to be lots of other individuals eating at the restaurant which is a good sign.
Gem in Burbank
My family and I stayed at the Coast during our holiday to Universal. The staff was kind, knowledgeable and made us feel at home. The FREE shuttle service to Universal was a big plus and the main reason we booked this hotel. Free parking on-site was a big plus as well. If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable hotel close to Universal, stay at the Coast!!
