Not my first choose if traveling with kids/teens
First the good stuff- The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower in our room was a 2 person and was clean and worked well. The hotel shuttle staff were also very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and easy to get to. The friendly staff was a huge bonus for this hotel, they really did make our stay much more enjoyable.
Now my complaints- the room was too expenses for very few amenities. No onsite pool (they have a deal with the hotel across the street so you can use that one, no towels at the pool (don’t forget them or someone has to walk back wet to get some) no hot tub (which I would have loved after 3 days at Disneyland and another full day at Universal Studios, I was sore). The onsite restaurant is expensive, on a vacation like ours it would have been so nice to have a free or less expensive continental breakfast. The hotel is older and everything appears to have seen better days, even the sheets (on one bed they had a tear in them) the awning outside our room window was torn to shreds (doesn’t impact the stay but something you notice).
We checked in here for our wedding night and the staff and rooms were excellent. We loved the rain shower, the size of the bathroom, the mini bar and the bed. The location was close to everything we needed and there was enough parking.
Great Hotel and Staff
We had a great experience with all of the staff we interacted with here at the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly and made us feel welcomed. The room was very nice and comfortable with an amazing shower. It was basically twice the size of a normal shower with a rain head on one side and the adjustable head on the other. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap in nice dispensers in the shower. Provided nice towels and robes to use. The beds were nice and comfortable although they had very heavy comforter which was a bit much for this time of year. We used the shuttle service a couple of times both days we were there. Very prompt and the driver who was the same the whole time was awesome. Very punctual in arriving for pick up times. Very friendly and helpful in providing a lot of information about the area and just an all around great guy. Felt like we had a friend working there. The only somewhat down side was vending or snack options were limited to a coke machine down by the lobby, however there was a nice size refrigerator so you could run to the store with the free shuttle and stock up. We did not visit the restaurant or bar while here. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

We only stayed for one night. The room was quite because we were in one of the corner rooms far away from the main atrium. If you need quiet, the open atrium area can be quite noisy at night. We thought the restaurant served food at decent prices. The best part of was the free shuttle anywhere in Burbank which we used to go to a meeting and back. Our driver was very pleasant. There is no pool but we used the neighbouring motel pool. We would have liked a hot tub to warm up. Liked the bathrooms and double showers. The bathroom looked recently updated and it had a magnifying glass which is a must!
I asked them to price match with a Hotwire HotRate Deal and provided them with the steps.
Melanie stated she was unable to find it.
I then asked for her email, to send the URL. She said that she couldn’t “click” on the link. She said she’ll send it to her colleague to verify and collected my phone number
Subsequently she called me, and said I was “lying” despite the fact I told her the steps, and provided a URL. She told me that the Hotiwre HotRate hotel was the same as the normal hotel.
I was just trying to help the hotel by avoiding hot wire’s 30%+ commission only to be called a “liar” as they didn’t want to honor that price
The hotel may be great with it’s location and service; but their reservations team is dishonest
