Anabelle Hotel June 2016
Excellent hotel and within easy drive to Universal Studios where we spent the day. Bathroom was excellent and I loved the rain shower. TV was nice and big and I had no problems in using or hearing it. Would have been nice to have bottled water to use for the coffee maker.
Very nice place to stay. Our valet driver Steve was wonderful. The personable lounge bartender also made our stay more enjoyable. Rooms were clean and the area was not noisy. The grandkids really enjoyed the pool at the Safari Inn right across the parking lot. A donut shop, McDonalds, Chinese restaurant and a CVS pharmacy are within walking distance. Although we did land up renting a car to get to other sites. I would have given an excellent rating if they offered a continental breakfast.
This small updated hotel served our needs well. We visited the area for a long busy weekend and needed clean, comfortable spacious accommodations. They do not offer many extra amenities but we were not looking for a “destination” hotel–just one to come back to at end of a busy tiring day. Rooms were clean, spacious and enjoyed the large walk-in shower.
What a Great Stay
We stayed here for a week while visiting Universal Studios, Warner Brothers Studios, the Getty Museum, the beach, and Disneyland. What a wonderful find! This hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and made us feel so special. Located right near the studios, we enjoyed the shuttles to our destinations and the staff’s on-the-nose reviews of local restaurants. However, don’t miss out on eating in the hotel…fabulous meals and great service! The staff -every one of them- made us welcome and went out of their way to help us in every aspect they could. They really made coming back at the end of our daily jaunts feel like coming “home.” Our 10-year-old daughter especially loved swimming at the neighboring hotel (also owned by Coast). We will definitely come back to this gem of a hotel.
Clean room, great location, friendly staff
We stayed here for 2 nights. Check in was easy and the woman working behind the front desk was so helpful. We got there a little late and she recommended a Chinese restaurant across the street. She also booked us on the free shuttle from the hotel to Universal Studios for the next morning.
The room was clean and comfortable. Although the bed could have been a little more firm. Not really a complaint, but more FYI.
Hotel is located not too far from downtown Burbank. Within walking distance there were a couple of restaurants (Including McDonald’s) and a CVS and some other small shops.
They have a FREE shuttle to and from Universal Studios that worked out great.
I would stay again when visiting the area and highly recommend you do the same!
