Excellent Staff But Lots of Noise

This is a conveniently located Burbank hotel with a restaurant and bar. Unfortunately, the noise from the bar carries to the rooms. The hotel is clean and comfortable except for the mattresses which I understand are being replaced. The staff is exceptionally nice. I liked the free parking. The bathrooms are fantastic – double shower heads, lots of water pressure and amenities.

very nice, great friendly staff, as always

I usually stay at the Safari Inn, Anabelle’s sister property, this time I stayed at the Annabelle. Let me tell you, the staff are amazing!!! always recognize you, helpful and willing to take time to answer any questions. Very clean!

Studio Tour Hotel

The objective of the trip was to visit Harry Potter rides and exhibits at Universal Studios and Warner Bros. We selected this hotel because it partners with Universal and it was a way to gain early entry (highly recommend early entry for Harry Potter access). Also, they have a free shuttle to both locations and the airport. We used the shuttle 4 times. They are pretty flexible and picked us up early once, but it would be a good idea to schedule the shuttle in advance. During busier times some times were unavailable. Also, if you’re arriving from the airport later than 9:30, you won’t be able to catch the shuttle. Five stars is because it was a perfect location with the free shuttle for touring the studios. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good for a hotel and the service was excellent and friendly. The rooms were above average and clean compared with others we’ve stayed at near attractions.

Nice hotel but very noisy.

The lobby and rooms are decent, the bathroom was very nice. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and old. The noise level was VERY high. All of the doors open up to the lobby. I could hear people’s conversation at the hotel bar and I was on the second floor. The lobby music I could hear from my bed at 2am. I could also hear the people upstairs. They walked ALOT and I could hear every single step as I was trying to sleep. Needless to say, I had a great shower but not a great sleep.

Small and friendly hotel

Nice and small hotel, great location – walking distance to neighborhood restaurants and urban (but not too much) atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The shuttle to universal studios was a big advantage for us as well.
