Was told shuttle service would be available for an early pick up from Universal Studios, they did not have a shuttle available so had to pay for an Uber. Was also told I could bring two guests back with us and was then forced to pay for another Uber to get guests back because front desk told us we could not include the guests, one a child, in the shuttle with us, even though the shuttle driver told us we could . The front desk staff, Lorena, was rude, unhelpful and accusatory, implying I was lying. For a hospitality worker, she provided no customer service skills. Additionally, our toilet seat had a permanent stain on it. Not o.k. Our room also had a lingering smell of smoke. Will not be staying here again.
Nice hotel, reasonable rates, centrally located in Burbank. Had an issue with my corporate card and the front desk staff was very accommodating to my request to bill separate cards for each day even though it was n inconvenience to them, they remained positive and friendly!
Close to Universal
We chose this hotel, based on proximity to Universal. The receptionists at the front desk were very nice. There was a shuttle, which we used for our visit to Universal and Warner Brothers Studio. The driver was polite and prompt. ( You do need to book your shuttle times in advance). The room was clean and nicely decorated. The shower was HUGE and very nice. The bathroom was like a spa. Coffee maker in room. I would recommend regular coffee in addition to the dark roast. The pool and laundry room are across the street at The Safari Inn
This was a twins 8 yr birthday weekend at Universal Studios. Hotel is very convenient to access theme park and shuttle service is great. Lots of optional dining in the area and we tried hotel restaurant too (very good). Nice and helpful staff.
Excellent customer service
Very friendly and helpful staff made it a pleasure to stay there. The room was clean and had a beautiful bathroom/shower. It was well stocked. The customer service was above and beyond and I would highly recommend this hotel.
