Coast Discover Inn (D.I in Campbell River B.C)
Lovely accommodations, parking lot is a bit small, but the rooms are excellent, great staff. Beds were comfy, pillow options were wonderful, fluffy and not fluffy, heaters worked great, nice pub, great breakfast buffet

Pleasant one night stay
My husband and I stayed at Coast Discovery Inn for one night and our stay was very enjoyable.
Check-in- Check-in was very quick. The lady that checked us in was extremely friendly and gave us a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the water. There are no elevators in the hotel, so if you have a lot of luggage, I recommend asking for a room on the 1st floor.
Location: The hotel is a convenient 3 minute walk to a Shoppers Drug mart, and a few restaurants just 5 minutes away.
Room: The room looks like it was newly renovated. The bed was comfortable and clean.
- Half priced applies for Happy Hour
- Complimentary breakfast
- Friendly staff
Overall, it was a pleasant one night stay and we would definitely recommend.

Well-maintained hotel for a reasonable price. Room was clean and comfortable. You get everything. Breakfast is great. Restaurant serves vegetarian options as well. I enjoyed the vegie 🍔. It was excellent and complimented with salad bowl!

I travel to this area periodically for work, and the Coast Discovery is perfect for my needs.
Some may find the single queen rooms a little small – and compared to other hotels they are – BUT for me, the scale of the space feels like my own bedroom which makes it that much more restful and calming. Add fabulous beds, a good selection of pillows, playful hallway decor that acknowledges the period of the building, and a central location – walking distance to pubs and restaurants, great breakfast, and it is a winner.
Good staff, poor property in need of a reno.
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. That’s about the only positives I can say about the property. Desperately in need of a renovation. Paid 115$ plus taxes for the night, shouldn’t be more than 80-90$ per night in its current condition.
