First Down Friday

Get into the Cougar spirit before game day at First Down Friday, a lively street fair in downtown Pullman. Spend the evening enjoying music, browsing local vendors, grabbing something to eat or visiting the beer garden while taking in the energy of a WSU football weekend. There is plenty for families to enjoy too, making it a fun way to start your weekend in Pullman.

First Down Friday takes place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on September 18, September 25, October 2 and October 23, 2026. The event is held around Olsen and Kamiaken Streets, next to Neill Public Library, giving visitors a fun way to explore downtown Pullman and start the weekend before cheering on the Cougars.
