Pumpkin Patch at Richmond Country Farms
Monsters not your thing? Bring the whole family to the pumpkin patch at Richmond Country Farms to enjoy a more wholesome side to the season. Grab a pumpkin, check out the animal farm, enjoy a wagon ride and get lost and found in the corn maze… all while listening to live entertainment.
Burnaby’s Haunted Village
Open the last few days of October, Burnaby Village becomes Burnaby’s Haunted Village, where the price of admission for this family-friendly event includes trick-or-treating, free carousel rides and live entertainment. They promise to be scary, but not too scary for the kids.
Halloween Pumpkin Express
This younger child-friendly train ride is decorated for Halloween, with the typical skulls and skeletons without being overly gory or gruesome. It includes craft activities, a Halloween treat and a mini pumpkin for every child over the age of two.
Glow in the Garden: Halloween at VanDusen Botanical Garden
The kids will love this event that takes place in the lovely VanDusen Botanical Garden. It includes light decorations, creepy music and glowing pumpkin caricatures. Patrons will also enjoy new attractions this year, including an expanded event area, new food vendors and timed tickets.

Halloween Fireworks
You won’t want to miss out on the fun at Minoru Park! Featuring kid’s activities, fire juggling, a magic show, and music, this free Halloween fireworks display takes place on October 31st.
Vancouver Halloween Parade
Taking place on October 13th, the Vancouver Halloween Parade falls on Thanksgiving weekend this year. Featuring a fun assortment of costumes you can expect the dance school zombies to be more of a treat than a trick.

Parade of Lost Souls
Taking place on the last Saturday of the month from 7-10 p.m., the location for this annual grassroots parade won’t be revealed until midnight on the Friday before Halloween.

Night for All Souls
This event acts as the opening night of a festival featuring a week of events about death and paying respect to the dead. A more sombre and serious event, A Night for All Souls takes place the weekend before Halloween at Vancouver’s Mountain View Cemetery.
