Great staff make this a perfect choice.
I have stayed at both the Four Points Sheraton and the Coast Prince George hotels. I would not return to the Sheraton, but have returned to the Coast three times. What makes the Coast Prince George hotel special is their staff.
Always ready with a smile, they often remember your name after just one encounter. Any requests within their scope are willingly and happily accommodated.
Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet and parking is safe. If you choose not to dine in the hotel restaurants, it is an easy 3 block walk to the best rated TripAdvisor restaurants.
No reason to look at staying anywhere else.

Stay at The Coast
I was pleased with everything, food was great, room was nice, It was in a central place, close to everything. Bed was comfortable, I had a lot of room. There was room to park my car. Was easy to find.
first covid-19 function
staff were excellent as always, rooms were nice as always, covid precautions were discreetly and clearly communicated, very professional. Even though hotel is getting older, they manage to make it wonderful every year.

Ended up Extremely Disappointed
Started out great. Was happy with the room initially. Found out late at night that the coffee machine was disgusting, very dirty and couldnt get just clean hot water to run through, just wanted a tea. They are reusing their “bulk” sized amenities (shampoo, body wash, etc) despite of Covid-19. Made the mistake of taking the bottles home, because I had assumed they could not and would not want to reuse the bottles due to Covid-19 and that the product/bottles were going to be thrown away. So I was charged $56 for these bottles ON MY DEBIT CARD, which is how I paid for my room, rather than it being deducted from my deposit. They said it was a mistake, as their computer was showing my debit VISA as a VISA and it didnt distinguish between the debit VISA and the regular VISA. However I was STRANDED in Jasper, AB with no gas money as the remaining $60 balance on my debit, after laying for my room, was for gas. The $100 deposit on my credit card wouldn’t clear for at least 3-4 days and I had assumed any issues with the room would have been charged to THE DEPOSIT, hence the purpose of a deposit. Not only was I stranded in Jasper, but no one at the hotel could apparently help me that day, and neither could coorporate. I was crying on the side of the road with my almost 2 year old daughter, stranded 4 hours away from home. A stranger ended up filling up my tank so I could get home.
I was only offered an apology, a reversal of the charge on my debit card, the $56 was still put against my deposit, and a full refund if I mailed the bottles back. I believe I shouldve been offered a full refund for what me and my toddler went through and for what could have happened to us. Who knows what couldve happened being parked out in my car on the side of the road for what would have been at least 12 hours if no one had helped me. Just know that no matter how much hell they cause, whether on purpose or an accident, they wont be willing to offer you any compensation or waive any extra fees that you mistakenly occurred, that they end up charging onto your debit account rather than your deposit. Even when it strands you 4 hours away from home. I had such a great week long vacation until this happened and it honestly kind of ruined the whole week. Was the last thing I needed on a long day of travel home, alone with my toddler.
