Appears to be better
I have stayed at hotel before and I wasn’t too overly impressed then, am quite pleased with the service and hotel this time around. Unlike the previous visits I quite enjoyed my stay and won’t hesitate to stay here again.
1 night stopover
Booked this last minute on a long road trip. Fairly easy access getting on & off the trans Canada highway. On the ‘wrong’ side east bound but still easy enough with side access roads.
Price was high for the quality, but no choice being last minute. Room was clean & recently renovated. We slept well and car was safe out front in the lit parking lot.
Included breakfast in the morning was very basic & underwhelming. Breakfast attendant was not friendly & handled food with bare hands.
Stay was fine, but no stand out reason to return. I’ll try somewhere else if I return to Swift Current.
Tired and raining had to get off the road.
Only two rooms left. Kitchenette or Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi was over $200.00 so took the kitchenette with CAA discount. It was a large room with separate bed room. Had dinner in the lounge, it was OK for bar food. Breakfast was included, waffles and stuff but no bacon or sausages. You are next to the highway and the semis were driving through the night.

Glorified motel (in a good way)
Looks more of a glorified motel than an “Inn”, but in a positive way. Nice and warm welcome, old-ish but clean room, even if from a different era. Beautiful big green courtyard, huge breakfast room with an OK choice of foods.
Be warned, and this doesn’t apply to this hotel only, the tap water doesn’t taste good. It won’t get you sick, but if you don’t like the earthy-like taste/smell of water, don’t drink it. Even coffee tasted it. But it was the same at a restaurant, so the hotel is not to be blamed for that.

Nice hotel and friendly town
The hotel clerk, Nathan, was great and recommended a restaurant that we really liked. We enjoyed the town. Easy access to downtown and the TransCanada. It is a good stopping off point on the way west.
