Great place to stop driving through the rockies

Good hotel, rooms a little small, but comfortable and reasonably priced vs other hotels in the area. Front desk staff were amazing, service there was great! Checked us in quickly, answered all questions about the area, directed us to the town pool facility and provided passes, even told us to take towels from their hot tube. Bathroom, clean and up to date. Would stay again.

Never disappoints

We always come back to this resort after a trip to Edmonton. Beds, bath, sheets, coffee, etc. are always impecable. Nice and quiet and clean. We really would like it to be kept a secret but we think it’s out! Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Lovely hotel in great setting

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Lovely setting, good wine and food from the restaurant with some nice facilities and great views from the back over the mountains. Bedroom was large, clean and also had good facilities.

Nice property, nice building, disappointing rooms

We booked a balcony room with view, and were disappointed to discover it was a common balcony with a view of the restaurant patio lol.

Otherwise, the room was perfectly fine, just a bit too expensive considering. I would stay here again, but would not bother with paying for a balcony room.

The property and building were very nice, more rustic than the typical coast hotel.

Perfect for families!

Family of 5: 2 adults and 3 teenagers (two 16 and one 18) and stayed for four nights. The bedroom was definitely big enough: it had 2 double beds and a pull out sofa. It was very comfortable and you were able to relax during the day with enough room to be able to do so. The food was very good and the service was amazing! There were two menus, one more expensive dinner menu and a more reasonable lunch one (as a family of 5 we ordered from the lunch menu for dinner and it was more than enough so you can definitely order from the lunch menu for dinner and the menu is available all day) We had dinner twice there and breakfast as well. Waiters making sure you didn’t need anything throughout the meal but it didn’t feel as though they were constantly around you. One of the waiters asked as about our trip and we mentioned that we were going to Victoria and she came back with a whole list of things that we can do in Victoria without us needing to ask her. We did have noisy neighbours that were shouting down the corridors that we had to tell to be quiet numerous times. When we complained to the reception they sorted it out immediately and to compensate they gave us a free breakfast, the receptionist even came to our room to check that we were okay. We also went white water rafting and you got a 10% discount with the hotel and they booked the whole thing, just had to say a time and a day. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back :)
