Comfortable Covid19 Aware Stay!

We chose Coast Chilliwack Hotel for its proximity to family on a recent trip to the mainland.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Jolene at the front desk, who explained the Covid19 protocols and where our room was.

On the 9th floor, our room’s view overlooked the parking lot, SaveOn Foods and other businesses below. Because it was our first stay in the city, we were interested to see a new place.

Bed was cozy, kettle that we requested arrived promptly and the room size had plenty of space to stow clothes.

We loved the Toto Washlet heated toilet seat as well as the environment friendly toiletries.

Would happily return to the Coast Chilliwack Hotel.

Coast Chilliwack

Stayed here twice on a round trip to Victoria. The first time was excellent so we returned on the way home. Very good hotel and service. Good value for the $$. As a result we continue to use Coast where possible on our travels. When reserving make sure you are on the Coast hotel site and not one of the multitude of search engines.

In transit

Travelling from the north, on our way camping on Vancouver island, we found the location of this hotel ideal. Convenient to the highway, yet far enough away that it couldn’t be heard. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff pleasant.

Incredible staff!

All staff were super friendly!!! This goes a long way for me and the fact that they are pet friendly was impressive. The Lobby entrance was beautiful as was the restaurant (albeit pricey) All that will make you think that the hotel is super high end but the rooms are “tired” ie. chairs ripped, needs paint touch ups including wood trims on counters furniture new grout on bathroom floors etc.. Bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. Bidet is supposed to be a bonus but I would rather better quality toilet paper. Location was excellent for our purpose. The park is nice but does have a few “interesting” people hanging out there but I still felt safes. A few touch ups and this certainly would be a 5 star for me.

What a surprise - 1 star lost for awful restaurant breakfast

Booked this hotel last minute as I really needed a break from driving and we enjoyed it so much we ended up staying an extra night!

The rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, the Toto washlet in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. We actually loved it so much we have ordered one for at home.

The area is really convenient with a Starbucks, Saveon, Chopped Leaf, Liquor store, A&W all across the street.

There is a lovely pond/park to walk around (during the day only – sketchy at night) and our room had a view of the mountains.

The only thing that did not rate highly was the restaurant. I am not joking when I say it was the WORST breakfast I have ever had. Ever. It was so bad that after a few bites we both decided to leave our meals. We paid for them ($40!) but in hindsight I wish we hadn’t, they really were inedible.

Will absolutely stay at this location in the future but will not ever try the restaurant again.
