Coast Hotels has two hotels nearby, so you can have a fun and tasty trip that you'll always remember.

Seattle Chocolate, which is less than a ten-minute drive from Coast Gateway Hotel, is a woman-owned chocolate company that prides itself on its delicious, ethically sourced chocolate. They’re passionate about empowering a new generation of girls, which is why they donate 10% of their net profits to Girls Inc. Seattle Chocolate’s imaginative flavor combinations such as Mexican Hot Chocolate, Pink Bubbly, or Neapolitan are sure to ignite your taste buds. Not only will their flavors brighten your day, but their colorful and creative packaging created by independent artists from around the world will certainly put a smile on your face. 

Want to see where the magic happens? They offer tours inside their factory! During the one-hour interactive guided experience, you’ll learn the history and origins of chocolate, how their chocolate is sourced and taste their signature smooth chocolate throughout your journey. Plus, you’ll get a bird’s eye view of the inside of their 60,000 square-foot factory from a hot pink mezzanine and see how their chocolate truffles and truffle bars are made.

Dolcetta Artisan Sweets

Dolcetta Artisan Sweets has multiple retail locations in the Seattle area for you to explore. Their handcrafted chocolate and confections are made in small batches to ensure quality in every bite. You’ll be sure to love their beautiful hand-painted bonbons and their delicious flavors such as dark chocolate and rosemary caramel, dark chocolate cookie dough, dark chocolate pretzel and many more amazing flavors. Dolcetta Artisan Sweets also gives back to their neighbors in need by donating 5% of their profits to Food Lifeline. 

Gosanko Chocolate Factory

The Gosanko Chocolate Factory, located less than a 25-minute drive from our Sea-Tac airport hotel, has remained a family-owned and operated business since 1987. They have been the premier leader of unique and highly detailed solid molded chocolate, and their gourmet confections are created in small batches and include truffles, caramels, clusters and turtles, just to name a few. Each chocolate piece is handcrafted, hand-wrapped and hand-rubbed to create the finest of details. Fun fact: Gosanko Chocolate’s owner is also their Chocolatier!

Delta, British Columbia: Where Chocolate Dreams Come True

Chocolate lovers visiting Delta, British Columbia, will find themselves amidst scenic landscapes, bustling city streets, and chocolate stores and factories beckoning with promises of culinary delight.

Rocky Mtn Chocolate

Rocky Mtn Chocolate is proudly Canadian and is said to be one of the most recognizable chocolate brands in Canada. It was founded in 1988 in Whistler, B.C. by a husband and wife team, Brian and Tammi Kerzner. They create their chocolate in small batches and entirely by hand which produces a uniqueness in both product and experience. Stop by one of their stores in Tsawwassen and watch fudge being made by hand or watch apples being dipped in decadent caramel. They have two locations in Tsawwassen: one at Tsawwassen Mills Mall, just a 5-minute car ride from Coast Tsawwassen Inn, and another at Tsawwassen Quay Market, just a 12-minute car ride away from the hotel.

The Chocolate Bear Shoppe 

The Chocolate Bear Shoppe is a well-known, locally owned and family-run Specialty Chocolate store and Gift Shoppe. For over 30 years, they've been operating in Tsawwassen Town Center Mall, conveniently just a 10-minute walk from our South Delta hotel in Tsawwassen. Whether you’re looking for unique boxes of chocolates, fudge, or confectionery items, The Chocolate Bear Shoppe will not disappoint your sweet tooth. 

Chewters Chocolates

Just a quick 25-minute drive from our Tsawwassen hotel, you'll find Chewters Chocolates a 60,000-square-foot fully automated chocolate factory that is certified organic and gluten-free with a retail store located inside. They have over 40 years of experience and proudly serve a contract manufacturer for some of the world’s leading chocolate brands. Chewters Chocolates has three main chocolate capabilities: their cutting-edge chocolate manufacturing facilities are designed to meet the diverse needs of their clients, their chocolate research and development lab is where their in-house chocolatiers work closely with clients to develop innovative recipes, and their chocolate packaging solutions ensure that every chocolate creation is showcased in the best possible way.
