The Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail is one of Penticton’s most iconic outdoor experiences. Originally part of a historic railway line, this scenic multi-use trail stretches across the South Okanagan and offers a peaceful, unforgettable way to explore the region. Walk, cycle, or hike along gentle grades with sweeping views of lakes, vineyards, and mountain landscapes.

A favourite section runs from Penticton toward Naramata, featuring panoramic views of Okanagan Lake, charming orchards, and several restored railway trestles. The trail access point is less than a 30-minute drive from our hotel, making it an easy and rewarding day trip for guests of all ages and activity levels. Along the route, you’ll also find picnic areas and scenic lookouts that make this outing both relaxing and memorable.
