RCMP Centennial Park

RCMP Centennial Park is one of those easy local spots that works for all kinds of trips, whether you want a quiet walk, a picnic break or a little time outside with the family. There is plenty of green space to spread out, paved walkways to follow and a relaxed setting that makes it easy to slow down for a while. You will spot a few memorable features around the park too, including Eddie the squirrel, an old RCAF plane, a railway car, a bridge, a band shell and the pond with its fountain. In warmer months, the flowers add extra colour and you may also see ducks, geese and other birds around the water.

The park has washrooms, lots of room to sit and unwind and a pet-friendly feel that makes it a nice stop on a road trip or afternoon outing. Galloway Station Museum is also right on site, so it is easy to pair time outdoors with a look at Edson’s railway, timber and coal history if you want to turn a short stop into a fuller visit.
