Dawson Creek Art Gallery
The Dawson Creek Art Gallery is a cornerstone of the local arts community and a must-see attraction for visitors exploring the city’s creative side. Located within Northern Alberta Railway Park, this public gallery is housed in a beautifully restored prairie grain elevator, an architectural treasure that preserves one of Dawson Creek’s most recognizable landmarks. Designed by local architect Jim Rose, the gallery’s innovative spiral ramp system leads guests through a captivating blend of historical and modern exhibition spaces.
Recognized by the Architecture Foundation of BC in 2014 as one of the province’s most distinctive buildings, the Dawson Creek Art Gallery continues to celebrate creativity and craftsmanship in northern British Columbia. Managed by the South Peace Art Society, the gallery serves as an inclusive cultural hub for the BC Peace Region, showcasing a wide variety of local, regional, and touring art exhibits throughout the year.
