Coast Anabelle Hotel
"Spruced up" and better than ever!
I’ve stayed at the Coast Anabelle Hotel several times in the past, as it is quite convenient to a large customer we have in the area. In fact, I reviewed it last November. My review was a pretty positive one although I did point out that the carpet was wearing in a few areas.
So, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room to note that the bathroom had been remodeled and that the carpeting was new. Everything looked great! I asked about it at the front desk and the people I spoke with said they had done quite a bit of remodeling although they are now done for a while because it’s now the busier part of their year.
So, this is an excellent place and a very good value at $169.00 plus taxes. They have a nice parking lot with plenty of room for cars, the bar is great and Dennis, one of the best bartenders I’ve ever run into, was there again. It’s worth a visit just to be in the bar when Dennis is on duty!
The shower is worth writing about. They must have replaced a standard tub with glassed-in shower with one standard nozzle and a 2nd with a round head in the ceiling- like being in a rainstorm. There was also an area to sit down while showering. It was very neat.
I wrote about the restaurant after my Nov. trip and how I was almost starving when I finally arrived from Wisconsin and then drove from LAX to Burbank and they were still open at 9:30 PM or thereabouts. I didn’t have the opportunity to have dinner there on this trip but had breakfast- a big bowl of granola with yogurt [healthy] and I supplemented that with some not-so-healthy- but tasty- crispy bacon. There must have been five or six pieces of bacon on the plate! The breakfast was just what I was hoping for and the service was good. The bill was $14.18 before tip.
If you’re planning on staying in the Burbank area, I would highly recommend the Coast Anabelle Hotel- it’s got it all: value, quality, friendliness, good restaurant, free parking, etc. Be sure to stop and say hi to Dennis! I hope you found this review helpful.
Loved Coast Anabelle Hotel!
After researching online hotels to stay in Burbank, “Anabelle Coast Hotel” caught my attention. I instantly liked their website and information offered for their guests. I liked the decor and ambiance. Hotel offers 24 hr room service, free wifi, plus centrally located close to the airport and offered complimentary parking for those arriving by car. So my husband and I decided to book a room for 2 nights in late June. As soon as we arrived, the receptionist was super friendly and check-in was smooth. Our room was wonderful- clean and spacious, located on top floor with a great big circular window that looks to the city. The bedding was very comfortable. We loved the bathroom and spacious shower. We ordered room service a couple of times and the food was exquisite and very fast service. Loved their bloody mary’s, the quesadilla, crab cakes, and pancakes for breakfast! At Olive’s bar, we had a great bartender who was so fun to talk to and offered us fabulous drinks and appetizers. Also, food pricing was reasonable and great portions. We loved Anabelle’s and their staff, and hope to stay there again for our next visit to Burbank!
We stayed for one ngith and had great hotel experiance. We got a remodled room and they did a great job. I loved the rain shower head. Another plus it had a ceiling fan. Close to Hollywood and universal will stay again.
Picked this as a last resort as all the bigger chains were booked up. Very nice surprise. I would recommend this to anyone. Sure the pool is at the hotel next door, a bit from “town” but not a big deal. Friendly, clean, quiet and spacious for the 2 of us plus 2 grand kids.

Don’t stay here if you wish to get a good nights sleep. The acoustics are horrible and they have a bar on the bottom floor that stays open late on weeknights? Staying here on business and very unimpressed with the way they treat their guests that value sleep. I have called and complained twice and nothing changed. I requested a different room but was told they are booked. This is miserable.
