We are frequent stayers at the Coast and it seems things are starting to go downhill…. seems a nest of spiders embarked from the under bed on this trip from food that hadn’t been cleaned up from a previous guest. Sink in the bathroom had a slow drain so water sat for a while before draining and overall the quality we are seeing is starting to diminish.
Stain on the Coast brand
I stay in Coast Hotels all over the province and this is the ONLY one I would not come back to. Very dated and dirty feeling. Dirty looking carpets everywhere. Stains on the chairs in my room. Hallways smell “off”. Staff member at front desk barley spoke to me or looked at me. I walked in and gave her my last name. She didn’t greet me. Turned and grabbed the Gold Member envelope waiting for me and put it on the counter. Didnt ask for a credit card or ID! I took out my card and showed her..didnt seem to really care. Didnt tell me my room number or wifi password.
I just stayed at the Coast in Penticton last week and Prince George earlier this week…both great experiences and really nice rooms. If they are 4 star hotels…this is barley a 2 star. A real stain on the brand overall and surprising they dont do something with it or sell it to a lower chain.

Old hotel. Not really updated
Could use upsdated plumbimg and electrical. Seems very dated. Breakfast was good and parking was good. Confusing to find the entrances first. Staff was very nice. Didn’t like BP bout that’s a personal preference

We live in Williams Lake and because of a power failure of our electrical system, we had to get a room. And fast, because it was minus 20. It was after 10:30 pm when we booked and got a very suitable room making it possible to get a decent nights sleep in an emergency situation. Coast Fraser is 3 minutes away from our home and comfortable. It worked out well for us.
Good complimentary breakfast and Stay.
Rooms are dated, but were comfortable, good size and clean. There was a fridge in the room. Nice large hot tub and also some exercise equipment. Breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, bagels, toast, cream cheese, jams, pastries, apples, and cereals. Coffee, tea and juices to drink. Good views from the big windows while eating breakfast. Also attached to the hotel is a Boston Pizza. A computer in the lobby for use.
