A great choice

Not a bad room in the hotel, fabulous free shuttle service to and from the downtown area. Staff is top notch, pool area is undergoing a re-furbishing, but will make my next stay here something to look forward to, and there will be another stay I hope in my cards. View from the bar/restaurant un-believable!!!

I should not go on it too much as it will may be more difficult to book next time.

Great location comfortable hotel. Great staff.

We loved the location of this hotel despite being a little further away from the central waterfront area. ie Empress and Government Buildings. But hey its Victoria and everything is close downtown! Located right next door to Fishermans wharf and Barbs Fish and Chips, and across the street from an Italian Restaurant, with an excellent restaurant in the hotel too. Views were excellent overlooking the busy harbour. Only thing not great was the Romeo and Juliet balcony which wasn’t suitable to sit out on.
Enjoyed the indoor outdoor pool.

Very good hotel in Victoria

Loved our 3-night stay at Coastal Victoria Harbourside.
The hotel is large, comfortable, with great customer service and excellent location, it easily one of the best value in the city (we’ve checked :) . Loved the shuttle service – it appears a little disorganized, but when you get picked up in the rain at 10 pm and driven back to the hotel after one phone call, you are truly grateful.
The front desk staff are awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating.
We had the breakfast included in the price, which was a huge plus: not only its convenient to grab a quick breakfast before heading out, the buffet food was really good, with nice variety of smoked fish and breakfast staples.
One more aspect to add to the lovely breakfast is the view out the restaurant windows: the harbour with planes and water taxis is just beautiful all around.
The rooms are big and overall comfortable, with only one aspect that can be improved on: the cleanliness of the bathroom. The bathroom is old and not very clean, with hairs on the floor and bathtub, re-usable bottles of shampoo and shower get is a bad idea where its obviously not cleaned properly.
Otherwise, the location is awesome, with 10 minutes walk to the Fisherman Wharf and the pier on another side.
We’ll stay here again!

Best in Victoria

close to everything, great service, great views, great food and free shuttle service, what’s not to love? seaplanes taking off at 8:am can be an eye opener but you will get that at the Empress as well. great walking path right in front of the hotel and the little shuttle boats stop right at the warf in front of the hotel. great stay.

Coast Victoria

Service and decor meet expectations of this price point, dependable quality from the Coast chain, front staff excellent. No parking for larger vehicles ieTrucks. Close to Parliament buildings but furthest from downtown.
