TELUS World of Science Edmonton
TELUS World of Science – Edmonton (TWOSE) inspires life-long learning as they create a positive science and technology culture in our region. The science centre is a non-profit organization designed to motivate people to learn about and contribute to advances in science and technology to strengthen themselves, their families, and their community.
Housed in a spectacular pyramid conservatory, this horticultural attraction features over 700 species of plants of arid, temperate, and tropical climates. A great place to visit year round!
Marvel: Universe of Super HeroesOct 19, 2019 — Nov 19, 2019
This exhibition debuts at TELUS World of Science during Marvel’s 80th anniversary year and 10th anniversary of Marvel Cinematic Universe, and chronicles the story of Marvel and its influence on visual culture, while also uncovering the narratives of individual characters such as Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange. FIBA Woman’s Olympic Pre-Qualifying TournamentNov 14, 2019 — Nov 17, 2019
The newly developed Olympic pre-qualification tournaments will tip-off in November 2019 to qualify teams to the FIBA Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2020, and ultimately the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
