#GivingTuesday is May 5, 2020. Normally, Giving Tuesday takes place on the Tuesday after Black Friday, but in this environment of economic recession brought on by COVID-19, many charities are not seeing the donations they normally would. Galas, golf tournaments and other similar fundraising events have been cancelled. At the same time, numerous charities are seeing a high volume of requests. As a result, Giving Tuesday got a fast-forward.
You can lend a hand by donating Coast Rewards points to a very worthy charity, whose work is centered around mental health and wellbeing. May is Mental Health Month and Coast Hotels has set a goal of raising $10,000 to support mental health programs, advocacy and resources.
In these difficult times, our mental wellbeing has been put to the test with physical distancing and the effect it has had on our day-to-day. It is important during these times that we stay connected, that we support each other. While we must extend the spaces between ourselves let us also extend a helping hand to those who need some extra help coping with the anxieties, loneliness and other mental health factors that accompany the COVID-19 pandemic.
From May 5th to May 11th, in support of Giving Tuesday, we invite you to support people affected by mental illness, who need help managing anxiety, or are experiencing loneliness and other mental effects brought on by COVID-19. Be a hero, donate your Coast Rewards points to the charities below.

Donations given will be provided to the charities listed on the promotion page only, and no substitutions to other charities can be made.
