1. The 21st Annual Wildlights Festival at the BC Wildlife Park

Running December 14th through January 6th, this winter celebration allows your family to revel in the colours of Christmas. Gather round and enjoy the hundreds of thousands of LED-lit trees, paths, and displays. You can wander through the Giant Maze, ride the Wildlife Express Miniature Train, or jump on the wagon to the North Pole. There are nightly performances from Uncle Chris the Clown so you can share laughs with your loved ones each night!

2. Santa Claus Parade

On November 24th your love for throwback music will be re-ignited. Enjoy a Retro Rockin’ Christmas with Santa and all his helpers during one of the most popular Christmas events in Kamloops. At 10:30 AM wake Santa up then head down the parade route to see all the rockin’ floats go by. After the parade enjoy games, refreshments and take a picture with Saint Nick in Santa’s Workshop.

3. Kamloops Heritage Railway – Spirit of Christmas

All aboard the Kamloops Christmas train as the Heritage Railway channels the holiday spirit. On this one-hour whimsical train ride during a chilly, holiday night, you can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies along the way while Christmas carols play in the background. Relax among the thousands of lights illuminating the train cars before having a meet and greet with Santa and other special guests on board. Come on out December 8th and 9th or from the 14th to 19th, and make sure to check your train times!

4. Elf – The Musical

At Sagebrush Theatre, from November 29th to December 12th, your little ones can join Buddy the Elf on his quest to discover his identity and the true meaning of Christmas!

5. Christmas with the KSO

Listen to your favourite festive songs as the Kamloops Symphony plays heartwarming melodies that remind you of what Christmas is all about. Witness a Noran Masterworks Performance on December 15th at 7:30 PM and a Kelson Groups Performance on December 16th at 2 PM, and fill your heart and your ears with musical cheer.

6. Watch a Kamloops Blazers Hockey Game at Sandman Centre
