Testimonials ........“I got married at the Tekarra Lodge on June 13 of 2009, and I would do it all over again! From the beginning to the end, the staff was wonderful and more than friendly and accommodating. The cabins have a very comfortable feel, and our group was placed in proximity of each other. We were married in a beautiful spot overlooking two rivers and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. We had our wedding dinner in the Tekarra Restaurant - it was better than I could have ever expected, and I could write an entire paragraph on the restaurant alone! Later on in the evening we celebrated outside at our picnic tables. Many of our guests expressed that they had never been to such a fun wedding and they felt relaxed all the time. I have been to other "cabin" resorts, but the Tekarra Lodge takes the cake for that rustic outdoor nature feel. ........"A few years ago we stumbled upon Tekarra Lodge without any prior research and have been booking our stay with Tekarra Lodge every summer since! It has become "our place", a peaceful, beautiful, restful place to visit. As much as I would like to keep this little piece of tranquil paradise all to ourselves, I can't keep it a secret! I share pictures and stories with all our friends. This August we decided to get married on the ridge, which offers a breathtaking view of both the Athabasca and Miette Rivers. The staff happily set up chairs for our guests, and a table for signing at no charge. Their maintenance man volunteered to go into town and track down an event tent for us while we went sightseeing. He not only found one, he set it up for us and wouldn't accept any money or tip for his work. They welcomed my little ring bearer, our beloved dog, Dylan. It made me so happy that he could be a part of our big day. Thank you Tekarra for your service, your friendly staff and the upkeep on the cabins.
