Coast Gateway Hotel
Good value at this airport hotel. Typical Coast comfort – clean and super staff. Airport shuttle was fast and friendly. Breakfast was pretty standard. Will stay here again. Good restaurant next door which is very handy.
Great, basic choice near SeaTac
Spent two nights here after a late arrival/early departure two days later. I hadn’t stayed here for probably 20 years but remembered it to be super convenient. It still is. Maybe a quarter mile from the south end of the terminal.
It is a basic business hotel that you can walk to from SeaTac (without crossing any streets). The rooms are clean, the furnishings and fixtures new and the staff courteous.
There is free internet (if somewhat slow) and breakfast which is always a benefit. Also, there is a(Roaster) restaurant just across the parking lot if you want a beer and a bite.
Rooms on the west side face the airfield and there is construction of a light rail extension between the hotel and the airport but I cant say there was a lot of noise.
While it is a little further to the light rail to downtown Seattle (which is at the north end of the airport parking structure) this is a viable option for commuting to downtown. Again – you don’t have to cross any streets which makes this simple. There may be a homeless person sleeping by the sidewalk on the way from the airport, but, hey! This is Seattle. It’s not as bad as Downtown!
OK for a night or two
Stayed one night in July….Sooooo much better than their sister hotel in Bellevue!!! This is a average 3 star minus experience. Relatively updated. OK breakfast area. Very convenient to the airport..
Great location, very average
One block from the airport. We chose to walk and it was no problem. Nothing special about the place but comfortable enough. Close to good food and drink. Price was higher than it should be but…location, location, location.
The hotel room was fantastic. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the front desk was able to fulfill our request for a box fan (we love the white noise) and it has laundry facilities. We stayed here for 4 nights prior to a cruise out of Seattle. The airport shuttle is free to light rail system. There are several places to eat within walking distance such as Subway, Dennys, and Sharps Ale and Roast house (although quite expensive). Free continental breakfast is offered and we were satisfied with it.
