What kind of boat is used?
You'll be aboard The Screamin' Eagle; she's a 26' Pacific Skiff
with 300 hp supercharged Mercury outboard Engine. This boat is
designed for comfort and safety. It features high gunnels with
rails, luxury captain's chairs, T-1 guidance system, plus two
cleaning stations complete with hot and cold running water.

Is it safe?
Safety is our first concern and your guide is Coast Guard
approved, licensed and insured.

What do I need to bring?
The weather can change several times in a day, so dress in
layers to keep warm or cool. The boat is equipped with a rain
top. All fishing supplies are included in the package price,
including license and the best fishing equipment that money can
buy.

Is there a bathroom on-board?
No, but clean bathroom facilities are usually no further than
15 minutes away.

Are children allowed?
We prefer youngsters age 10 and older. There is no discount for
children (on the boat, a seat is a seat).

How long do we fish?
The average day of fishing is eight hours. We typically like to
start at 6 or 6:30 am and fish until the early afternoon. We
can fish hard all day or quit a little early and do some
sight-seeing...it's up to you!

Can we bring alcohol?
Beer and wine is allowed in moderation. Please no hard liquor.

What kind of fish might we catch?
It depends on what season and which fish are running. Here is a
thumbnail calendar of typical fish runs in our area:
March - May : Spring Chinook Salmon
May - June : Keeper Sturgeon
May - July : Oversized Sturgeon
June - July : Summer Steelhead Salmon
August - October : Fall Chinook Salmon, Fall Coho Salmon

What do we do with "keepers"?
All legal, catchable fish are cleaned on-board, filleted and
packaged for you to take with you. We can also make
arrangements for smoking your fish or shipping for additional
fees.

What is the cancellation policy?
We require a credit card to guarantee at time of reservation.
Your card will be charged 72 hours prior to your arrival date
and is non-refundable at this time.

How do we get from the hotel to the boat?
You will need transportation from hotel to the boat dock that
changes depending on season. You may meet the boat in Woodland,
WA (:45 minute drive from hotel), Cathedral Park in St. Johns
area of Portland on the Willamette (:30 minute drive from
hotel), or Beacon Rock, WA (:50 minute drive from hotel).
Transportation can also be arranged by The Benson Concierge
staff (fee applies).
