Campbell River is the "salmon fishing capital of the world" and at its heart is the Coast Discovery Inn & Marina. Situated on Discovery Passage, directly across from Quadra Island, visitors can enjoy a view of the magnificent Coast Mountains, a setting so captivating you may never want to leave. The varied fauna includes orcas, Tyee salmon, sea lions and rare birds found on Mittelnach Island.

Day trips can be made to Strathcona Park, Mt. Washington Ski Resort, the Discovery Island group or one of the many parks in the area.
