Things We Love to Do in Whistler
We don’t just work here, we live and play here, too. These are a few of our favourite spots you might like to check out while you’re in town. We’ve highlighted a couple well-known attractions as well as a couple local gems you may not have heard about, but we think are well worth a visit. Need more hints about where to go and what to do? Just ask! We’d love to give you the inside scoop.
Play an unforgettable round of golf at one (or all!) of the four local championship courses: Nicklaus North, Whistler Golf Club, Chateau Whistler, and Big Sky.
Check out one of the many festivals at the world-famous Olympic venues. Feeling adventurous? Give bobsledding a try!
Whistler Valley Trail System
Over 40 km of paved trails from Cheakamus Crossing to Green Lake and Emerald Estates. Here’s one highlight you won’t want to miss: Stop at the halfway house on the Whistler Golf Course, which lies adjacent to the valley trail in the Blueberry area, for a world famous hotdog and potential bear spotting!

The Whistler Spirit Run is a one-day cross-country and trail running event that takes place at Whistler Olympic Park and features something for everyone.
Since the first Whistler Spirit Run in 2008, the event has attracted people of all ages and built strong relationships. This year’s version will consist of cross country events of various distances for school and club teams, a fun 4x2KM team relay and individual competitive races where almost $3000.00 in prize money will be offered courtesy of Sierral Sil.
The Whistler Spirit Run is part of the Lower Mainland Cross Country Series, where runners have the opportunity to collect points towards the overall series.
