Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel & Marina
Relaxing stay at Victoria Harbourside
Although the Coast Harbour side is not one of the newest Hotels in Victoria,it is very well maintained .Our room was overlooking the harbour and we enjoyed the well placed and comfortable seating to view the wild life and the variety of marine crafts.
The consierge was extremely helpful and the shuttle service was great ,picking us up after our walks to shops ,restaurants ,and the many attractions within walking distance of the hotel.
The large pool ,hot tub ,and sauna area is clean and in good condition we enjoyed these ammenitiesWe would plan on staying here again

Good hotel near downtown
We stayed at this hotel for a few nights in August 2014. We chose the hotel because we were able to get a reasonable rate and it was in a great location just down the street from the Legislature and right on the harbour. The room itself was very large with lots of space to accommodate our baby’s crib, although the rooms themselves could probably use a bit of updating. We enjoyed the pool in the hotel, which is about 50% indoors and 50% outdoors (very neat idea on a nice summer day). The location was within walking distance of a number of tourist sites in downtown Victoria which was very convenient. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and would definitely consider it again on future visits to Victoria.
Good value for the price. Coffee was Starbucks and easy to make for the morning. Very clean, great bed and linens, soaps, lotions & shampoo. It’s really the location that is superb. The restaurant had the most friendly guy waiters, and the food was reasonably priced and prepared. Expectation was met and is always met at Coast hotels.
Not as good as it looks
Can’t say I would recommend. I was unable to check in early or upgrade. When I finally checked in,the room had tired furniture that badly needed to be replaced. I had lunch in the restaurant which was overpriced. The worst was a constant noise throughout the night of running water. Possibly a toilet from an upper level. I woke up several times during the night. Hotel comped me breakfast but that did bring back my sleep for the night. The shuttle operator was very nice. Also, I had to ask for a full sized hair dryer.not the level of luxury I expected and a good walk from the harbor.
Happy with our stay
Check in was fast and staff very helpful and friendly. Our room had a view of Victoria harbour and was a good size. We had a small fridge and a coffee maker in our room. Starbucks coffee) Everything was very clean and the hotel was very quiet! Plenty of fluffy towels, soaps ,lotions shampoo and lots of pillows on the bed. If you like your bed firm you will love this bed. If you like it softer you might not like it as much ,but it’s doable. Free WIFi was available in the room. The hotel is walking distance to down town Victoria, (about 10 minutes ) And it is also pet friendly. They do have underground parking but it’s 15$ per night. We did see a parking lot across the street about 300 feet North of the hotel were parking is only 5 $. All in all a very nice stay! We also had breakfeast at the restaurant which was really good,
Ps We stayed here xmas day, thank you coast victoria hotel for the treats that were left in the room for us!
