Royal BC Museum
This museum showcases human and natural history of British Columbia and other cultures around the world. Be sure to check back often to learn about special exhibitions.
Stroll along the docks and enjoy ice cream, whale watching, and lots more. A great way to take in the feel of the city.
Check out the fun boutiques, grab a bite, and kick back in the market courtyard for great people-watching. The Market Square is set on the site of historic Fort Victoria.
Victoria’s China Town
Victoria’s Chinatown is the oldest in Canada and second oldest in North America, after San Francisco’s. This vibrant area is rich with history.

Tonight is the night we light up the provincial Christmas tree outside the Parliament Buildings. Beautiful live music, gorgeous lights and hot cocoa and treats for everyone! The Parliament Buildings are less than a 10 minute walk from our hotel.

Another wonderful reason to visit the Royal BC Museum! Father Christmas will be exploring Old Town at the museum and taking pictures with guests of all ages. This world-class museum is a short walk (or shuttle ride!) from our hotel.
Father Christmas will be at the museum Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am – 3pm.

An outdoor concert at Market Square is a uniquely Victorian experience. You will be treated to beautiful Christmas tunes performed by The Greater Victoria Concert Bands. This is a free event but donations will be accepted and given to Our Place Society to help our community.

A Seasonal Victoria Must-See! Take a quick shuttle ride to the city-centre to join 1000′s on the Inner Harbour for the 25th Annual Lighted Ship Parade & Night Market. Music, food & fun for all ages – plus beautiful boats on a backdrop you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
If you don’t feel like venturing into down town, a 3 minute walk will bring you to Fisherman’s Wharf – prime real estate for viewing the ships as they sail by!
