Beaver Lake & Artist Display Areas, Stanley Park

Home to a wide variety of bird species, beavers, and fragrant water lilies, Beaver Lake in Stanley Park is accessible only on foot. It features a 1 km-long pathway surrounding its edge. You’ll also find artist display areas dotted around the park and often times, the artist is available to discuss his or her works.

West End Farmers Market

Running June – October on every Saturday at Nelson Park, located on the corner of Comox and Thurlow streets, visitors can expect the best in local produce, prepared foods and crafts.

Located almost at the hotel’s front door, English Bay connects to the Stanley Park Seawall, a popular running and biking route. English Bay features the Cactus Club Café, as well as kayak rentals, volleyball courts, beaches and events such as the Polar Bear Swim.

Granville Island

Located across the water, hotel guests can take a trip across False Creek in one of Vancouver’s little blue aqua ferries.
