Coast Penticton Hotel
So much for Street Appeal
I often stay at Coast Hotels, but from the street this one didn’t look up to their standard…….checked into a ‘superior king’ and was wowed by the bathroom with rain head and handheld in a large shower area, joined by a soaker tub for the girls…..almost Vegas!
We are Coast Hotel members so stay at their locations often. They have a standard that we appreciate and were not disappointed. When we first arrived it looked to be an older refurbished hotel and there were some towels handing from windows. There are indoor and outdoor pools with the outdoor pool having a barbeque, sitting area and a large lawn you could play soccer on, or at least have kids do what kids do when adults want some quiet time.
We were fortunate to have a room with a small balcony as most do not thus the towels drying out the window. They do have washer and drying facilities. We get it though as it is summer and the lake and river are only 2 blocks away.
The professional photos on Trip Advisor are very accurate. The front desk staff was very helpful and told us about a deli / Market within a block and a great Italian Restaurant.
While we did not eat at the attached restaurant friends of ours in Penticton said it was the best breakfast place in town
Friendly Helpful staff
Brought our daughter and grandsons to Penticton and stayed 1 night. Room was a good size for us and staff brought in playpen and set it up for us. The only thing I found difficult was as we didn’t have a balcony, we had no where to dry wet bathing suits so had to drape over chair. Shower bar was used for towels so no room there. Other than that, we would recommend this hotel.
Friendly staff, clean, convenient, with a few extra perks thrown in.
The staff and management of this hotel were super friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful to us (even to the point of giving us laundry packets and dryer sheets to do our laundry). They give you Starbucks coffee in the rooms and complimentary coffee in the lobby, which tasted excellent. You do have to go outside to get to the indoor pool (or at least you did from the part of the building we were in) but the pool room is very nice. Smells like cedar and has a deep hot tub. There is a nice, deep outdoor pool as well. Everything was very clean and we will definitely stay again if we pass that way next month. There is a Denny’s across the street. Reasonably priced and no problem with our 4 children. Thanks for the pleasant stay.
Near the town but a quiet location, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only failure was the bathroom supplies and tea facilities were over looked on a couple of occasions. Would definitely recommend to others.
