please don't go I want you to stay open
I’ll explain my upper comments the hotel is no turning into apartments which saddens me I love the coast house hotel because it’s very much like going home I spend a lot of time in the last three years getting to know the stuff in the people and the hotel and I can tell you they’re very much like family everyone goes out of their way to help you Gloria especially and Tao
and all the stops are absolutely exceptional I’m going to miss staying there I only hope the next hotel I find in Edmonton that equals a kind of needs that I’ve had met there will compare in quality. good luck to everyone who’s going to be moving on as the hotel changes over to an apartment building thank you for all your great service.
I’ve stayed at the Coast Edmonton House at least 1 week a month for quite some time. They offer exceptional views and full kitchens and when working on the road this alone can be a real advantage. The staff completely exceeds my expectations every time. Gloria is completely loyal, caring, understanding and a great asset to their organization.

Situated right downtown the coast hotel is the place to stay.. I have been here multiple times over the years and it’s great service excellent rooms the executive is great with a private bedroom full kitchenette and a heck of a city view from the twenty something floor.. The standard rooms are nice aswell.. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay downtown..

My Coast Edmonton House Experience
This is my favorite hotel in Edmonton, perfect location for to access LRT. Very disappointed to hear of it’s closing, and being transformed into an apartment building. Don’t know why the owners wouldn’t consider leaving a few floors as a hotel, must be because they want to cut out paying staff to maintain a hotel atmosphere. Rooms are great, just like being at home, especially with the kitchen, and all the dishes, doesn’t even feel like a hotel room, love the view of the city from the belcony.
HOTEL CLOSING DOORS DECEMBER 15
I just received an email from Coast saying that it is converting this property into an apartment and will no longer be a hotel starting on December 15, 2013. This is terrible news as it was the best value in downtown Edmonton and the other Coast hotel downtown (Coast Edmonton Plaza) is one of the dingiest hotels I have ever stayed in so I won’t be going there.
