New Asian Village
Picture yourself a Royal Maharajah dining in the privacy of your very own silk curtained room, while sitar music strokes your ears and exotic spices dance on your tongue. New Asian Village is the best place to go if you are craving for some Indian cuisine.
Edmonton’s River Valley Trails
We’re close to over 160 kilometers of gorgeous river trails just waiting for you to explore them. Great for running, biking, and strolling. Or just pack a picnic!
Take in a bit of Alberta’s vibrant political landscape and history. Open 362 days a year, the legislature offers guided tours, giving a fun, educational look inside the workings of government.
West Edmonton Mall
Take in the grandeur of North America’s largest shopping mall. If you can’t find something you like here, you won’t find it anywhere!

Old Strathcona Farmers Market
Over 130 of the finest food producers, artisans, and growers bring a slice of rural life to the city at one of Edmonton’s only year-round, indoor farmers’ markets.
City Market Downtown
This year-round farmers market has been an integral part of downtown Edmonton for over a century! Farm-fresh produce, locally raised meats, ready to eat meals. Bread, fruit wines, sweet treats. Handcrafted jewellery, local art, one-of-a-kind clothing. Home decor, cut flowers and bedding plants in season. All this and more make up the City Market shopping experience.
Art Gallery of Alberta
The Art Gallery of Alberta is a centre of excellence for the visual arts in Western Canada, connecting people, art and ideas since 1924. The Art Gallery of Alberta maintains a collection of over 6,000 objects from around the world and is the oldest cultural institution in Alberta and the only museum in the province solely dedicated to the exhibition and preservation of art and visual culture.
One of Edmonton’s most iconic structures, the Muttart Conservatory offers a year-round escape into the beauty of the world’s plant life. Designed by award-winning Canadian architect Peter Hemingway, the Muttart Conservatory is vibrant, colourful, tranquil and inspirational, the pyramids’ display gardens are a welcome oasis for all.
Royal Alberta Museum
The Royal Alberta Museum is one of Canada’s most popular museums. Set in a park just west of downtown, the Museum offers a full range of exhibitions and activities for every age level and interest. Feature exhibitions at the Museum are changing all the time. Behind the scenes, 13 curatorial programs are responsible for building and making accessible some of the finest cultural and natural history collections in the country.
Edmonton Valley Zoo
Nestled on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, the Edmonton Valley Zoo is a small and intimate zoo that provides authentic and engaging animal experiences.
Underground Tap & Grill

Remedy Cafe is the best choice if it comes to Chai latte. It’s also a great place to hang out, excellent Indian and Pakistan cuisine. A good selection of gluten-free and vegan meal.

If you are hungry for some Chinese food, our Coast Edmonton House Ambassador Tao said Dynasty Century Palace Restaurant is the best Dim Sum restaurant in Edmonton.
Dauphine Bakery and Bistro
Dauphine: authentic, classy, European-style. This independent family run bakery and bistro is our first choice at the Coast Edmonton House if we want something tasty and sweet. Zin, our Ambassador said: “Their bread is some of the best you can find in Edmonton. You can not go wrong with their sandwiches or desserts either.”
