Pleasant stay after long drive
A very comfortable hotel in a nice setting. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. We would definitely stay there again. The hotel was just a few minutes out of town so it was easy to drive back into town for dining and sightseeing.
I quite enjoyed the visit here largely because of the views, and the bar/restaurant, good ambiance and wait staff. I do however expect more of a room at this price point. The list of deficiencies is long and tedious but driven essentially by the fact that they built these rooms too small for the purpose, and having done that, did their best to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
We stayed in a regular room, all of which have one or two queen size beds – no kings unless you go to the highest price point. That is not like home, which is a standard of performance hotels striving to achieve premium status should be reaching for.
In this undersized room, there was one waste basket, no footstool, a small shower, a safe that could not be made to work for some reason, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the mirror fogged to unusable, the tall floor mounted lamp could not be located by the reading chair due to space restrictions, the bathroom sink area was so restricted they had to provide a space in the room where a lady could do her makeup – it seemed to go on and on. Remember I said I enjoyed this stay. I did, in spite of these limitations.
On a humorous note, of the thousands of hotel rooms I have stayed in over many years, this is the very first one that had not a single picture on the walls in the room. My wife noticed this right off because she always looks carefully at these pictures, as they usually tell a local story of some sort.
So maybe, just maybe, these guys have it right for most people. Most reviewers put this hotel on a higher pedestal than I believe it deserves. I hope I’m right, because if these guys are right, then this is the way many establishments will go in the future.
The place to be!
Great rooms with a bathroom who is just the best. Instead of a bathtub there is a shower in that size! So great! Everything was very clean.
The restaurants have great food and the waitress Alana is the greatest. She is so friendly, she will make your day!!!

Great place to stay!!
I went here for a personal retreat time, and was surprised at this gem of a hotel nestled in the trees of Revelstoke. I sat in large comfortable chairs on the main deck and looked out over a spectacular view of the mountains. The flowers were amazing and attracted area hummingbirds which were so fun to watch! Room was great – clean and comfortable – and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite. If I ever go back to Revelstoke, I am definitely staying there again!!

YMCA road trip.
Everything was even more than expected. We do several trips during the year and this was up there on the top of our list. We never heard a complaint from anyone in our group or others staying at the resort.
Couldn’t have wanted for anything.
