Community Relations

Coast Hotels & Resorts feels a responsibility to give back to the communities in which we work and live by supporting charities and events on a local, regional and national level. We are proud to support the following causes:

Coast Athlete Assistance Program
We believe in our responsibility to the long term sustainability of the communities we serve. We support our communities through direct community involvement, our commitment to arts, culture, education and amateur sport, and our environmental programs. The CAAP program is an integral part of this commitment.

Athletics
The “Coast Arts and Athletic Program” (CAAP) provides funding and assistance to support the dreams of athletes who are striving to represent Canada in either the Olympics or Paralympics. Specifically, Coast Hotels wants to support those athletes that are currently training with one of Canada’s National teams but do not currently receive Sport Canada Funding (AAP Carding); however, if no athletes in your region fit this criteria, please choose an athlete that would fit best with your hotel.

Arts
The “Coast Arts and Athletic Program” (CAAP) provides funding and assistance to artists pursuing excellence in the areas of visual arts, music and dance. These artists are chosen for their level of dedication in their chosen discipline and their need of support to reach their goal and dreams.


BC SPCA
Coast Hotels & Resorts is the official hotel chain of the BC SPCA and a provincial sponsor of the BC SPCA’s main fundraising event, “the Paws for a Cause” campaign. As a pet-friendly hotel chain, Coast supports the valuable work of this organization.
